Job Overview:

AM Agency is seeking a Director of Business Development to join a purpose-driven, well established, and growing organization. As Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for new business development in a highly productive, relational equity environment. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from lead generation to close. Working closely with both internal and external C-level executives, you will establish and nurture mutually profitable business relationships with clients. Ideal candidates will fit comfortably into almost any meeting settings. Our clients have diverse industries from finance professionals in suited up offices, to factory floors, to work boots in the field. You will be happy to dress for the day!

Role & Responsibilities:

As Director of Business Development, your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Being a culture carrier by enabling/supporting employee engagement and retention
  • Generate and develop new business to meet specified sales goals
  • Act as a trusted advisor in communicating information regarding products, services, policies and procedures to new and existing clients
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of company services and offerings
  • Continually gather information prevalent industry and business trends
  • Ensure that all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time
  • Provide timely and accurate reports, as required
  • Attend and participate in business meetings/speaking events/trade events that impact the business

  • Proven track record of closing short-cycle B2B sales
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate team activities and work effectively with operations and marketing teams
  • Minimum 2 years B2B combined inside and outside sales experience with a demonstrated ability to close
Nice-to-Haves for This Role:
  • Business development experience in chamber of commerce or similar business groups
  • Have an established network of high achievers
  • Public speaking experience

PROSPECTING

  • Identify & contact new sales opportunities through online research, networking, social media, phone, and inbound leads
  • Meet the defined daily/weekly/monthly prospecting thresholds

SELLING

  • Collaborate with qualified prospects to build a business-case for our solutions
  • Leverage team members within the Company to ensure the proposed solutions meet/exceed the prospect’s business requirements
  • Create compelling cases for the qualified prospect to invest in Company’s solution, through such tools as ROI calculations and Cost/Benefit Analysis

ADMINISTRATIVE

  • Record the requisite prospect data in Company’s CRM
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for proposed solutions
  • Report to Chief Operating Officer (COO) about goals, sales, and prospects
  • Collaborate with other staff on new marketing initiatives, campaigns, and events
Location:
  • Hurst, TX (Hybrid model of being in the office MWF and remote T/Th every week)

Compensation:
  • $75k Base + Uncapped Commission (Anticipate the right candidate to earn over $200k+)
